Trend Reversal Trading Strategy for Forex (thanks Kevin Davey!)

In this video I demonstrate a simple Trend Reversal or Counter Trend Trading Strategy. The simple entries are enhanced by a little trick using serial correlation.

I got the idea for this from trader Kevin Davey. Thanks Kevin!

This strategy is demonstrated using the daily chart of GBP/USD Forex pair.

I include 2 studies: A regular out of sample and in sample development and then a development using walk forward analysis.

Data is from Oanda from 2008 – October 2021 and all the programming and testing is done on MultiCharts.
